Finally got the chance to try out one of the item in the ala carte menu.

The plastic bag is quite tasteful. 1901, food for friendship.

Ordered Regular Texas Ted (RM5.80). This is how the regular box looked like.

Here you go, this is bascially how it looks like. I guess others will be looking almost like this also. You can opt to have extra sauces added which you have to add-on 60sen for each extra sauce.

No sales tax.

I’m sure you all now this already. Hotdog 1901 is now operating in tHe Spring. When they opened, we were in Penang.

Haven’t try them yet. Just went there to take some photos to update. We thought they will set up a shop here but it’s just a stall. It’s located at Ta Kiong area.

Have you eaten them?

Oct 28

This post will cover our dinner, supper and dessert of day 3 in Penang.

We had our dinner at Yi Garden. It was so packed! It was not easy to find a place to sit. I’m not sure where is the exact area it located, it’s located somewhere around Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Centre if not mistaken.

The wantan mee that our friend said that it’s very famous. This plate cost RM3+ if not mistaken. The wantan were hiddden below the noodle.

This is just wantan with no mee. Very succulent wantan, no wonder it’s so famous.

Oh dear… What are these two called? They seemed like Cantonese Char. Anyone got any idea? :p Forgot to take note of the name and the price.

O jien again, RM5 only and the oysters were generous!

Pork spare parts porridge. Don’t remember how much also but it’s much cheaper than in Kuching and this is the kind that you can eat the every single grain of the porridge instead of the mushy type that we usually got.

Next round, we went to the food court next door. To try more food. This is bak chang.

Chu Chang Fen, this is much better than the previous one. The gravy is extremely sticky and thick! A bit too sweet for our liking. Still with the sambal, it’s quite nice.

Then, here came our pizza, very cheesy thin crust pizza. This is really recommended! Not sure how much but it should be below RM15(just wild guess).

Our last stop was a shop selling herbal drinks and tong sui that is very famous in Penang. Not going to let you know the name though. In fact, we forgot the name also. Very hard to read and pronounce.

These were some of the stuffs that we had. We spent RM40+ on all of them! It’s very expensive!!! The most expensive “meal” in Penang. Does this even consier a meal. However, the ingredients they used are pricey and good quality ones, that’s why you got such price.

Let’s see… The cup of drink is some kind of ginseng drink, the black one is guilingao, the yellow green with black sauce is di ya kueh(I hope I got it right), and the white one is tao hu hua, the brownish one is xuet kap(not sure how to pronounce it, it’s not cheap stuff).

So that’s the end of our day 3 food.

The bar.

The bar’s interior. Do not expect to hear any heavy music there, it’s a place for people to sit down and relax to chit chat with friends and not the place for you to dance your heart out.

The chairs. The interior colours are mainly in gold, white and black. There are TVs there but it’s fixed to the wall instead of using tv stand.

The Original CarWash Restaurant located at Rubber Road. Just opposite of ING office. Before you reach there, you can see Satay House on your right, then Singapore Chicken Rice on your left. It’s just further up and you will see it.

Very different atmosphere. You can get your car wash there at dine at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone. However, the car wash is more expensive that the normal one you get in the market because of the technology used.

The place looked very high class and the enviroment is really great.

You can opt to dine outside if you like to smoke and dine.

The inside of the restaurant. The interior decor is very interesting.

I’m sure it’s a great place to have a romantic or relaxing quiet dinner with your loved ones.

The lighting is not too dark and not too bright. It’s very comfortable and soothing.

The menu.

Very simple design. In fact you can download it from their website, http://www.theoriginalcarwash.com

Drink available: Dragonfruit Juice (RM6.50), Berries Thicks (RM5), P. Butter Chocolate (RM5), Orange Juice (RM5.50).

Both soups are spicy if you can’t tolerate spicy food.

Lamb Chop (RM25)

Chicken Chop (RM20)

Par Ped Ka Min (RM18), stir fried fish with turmric, thai style that comes with a plate of rice and veggies.

Par Mek Pat Pong Ka Le(RM18), stir fried squid with curry sos that comes with a plate of rice and veggies.

Lots of food to eat but if you have acne, you might want to control on consuming some food else if it gets worst you will have to find treatments for acne.

The food we ordered, a bit too much for 5 persons. Total bill was RM159.50.

You can see many antiques outside the restaurant.
