Managed to go over to Kim Bay HK-Macau Restaurant few days back for food tasting. It’s located at tHe Spring. Not hard to find, it’s at the same row Starbucks, just walk to the other end and you will find it.

Don’t have much to share though… Just show you some food that I had tasted. These food might or might not be in the menu. Anyway, enjoy the food photos.

Have a happy holiday!

Blue Splendour Restaurant is located at Wisma Sanyan, Sibu. That’s all of the details I can provide, went there to attend a function so don’t have much details. I’m sure those in Sibu will know this place well. Do share if you have more details.

Not sure the actual name of the dishes so I’ll just give any name that seemed appropriate. Let’s see what they have to offer:

Chicken Mee Sua.

Combination dish.

Crispy skinned chicken.

Fish, not sure what kind of fish, it’s best eaten with the sauce.

Braised abalone and mushrooms.

Nestum prawn.

As you all know, Sarawak Club is an exclusive club. You cannot simply go in unless the member brings you in. We were lucky to be invited to have a dinner there by a friend. Here are some of the food we had when we were there. We had our dinner at Hornbill Restaurant.

Special Hot and Cold Combination. There were sushi, boxing chicken, and not sure sure what the other two called, I think is fish cakes and kerabu(a type of sweet, sour, spicy dish).

This is the famous buttered prawn of Sarawak Club. We were expecting it to come with shells but it’s not.

Not quite sure what kind of beancurd dish is this.

Lamb Chop Szechuan Style.

Roasted Chicken Thai Style(if not mistaken).

Baby Kailan with Garlic.

There were other dishes too but only managed to take photos of these. The prices of the food are very reasonable and the quality is good but too bad it’s not open for public. You can definitely afford to dine there but you can’t afford to pay the membership fee here.

Imperial Duck is located at the same row as Lok Thian. Very easy to spot. It’s opened for business quite a long time ago and I’m sure many of you had heard of the bad and good. Not going to comment much here as this site is only to feature food that we had to you and not to do actual full review unless we are requested to do so.

What we notice is that it’s always packed!

Sorry about the photo, focused the wrong place hehehe…

Cha Seow Puff 3 pcs(RM3.60)

Shanghai Style Pan Fried Dumpling 3 pcs(RM3.60), beware of the soup inside, once you biten it, don’t overturn it or else the soup will all flow out.

Barbecue Pork(three-layer meat), RM8

In fact this was a very old post, 1 or 2 years ago. Updated in here before but I have not idea where it gone too. It just gone missing.

Restoran Soo Huat is popular in Melaka. According to my friend that brought me here, they serve the best bak kut teh. They are also famous for their sweet and sour pork leg, yellow wine chicken(direct translation from the Chinese name), and Thai assam fish.

There are many celebrities that had dined in this restaurant before, you can see many signatures and newpapers report there.

Tea is the best drink to compliment bak kut teh in West Malaysia. However, in Kuching, I don’t think this is the case.

A type pf pork leg dish.

Vegetable dish.

The bak kut teh that is very famous.

I have no idea of the exact location but if you are in Melaka, I’m sure the locals will know where it’s located.

Many people request us to try out this place. Finally got the chance to try it out. It’s pretty out of the way for us, just happened to be around this area and decided to give it a try.

The exterior of Koreana Restaurant. Premier 101 is not that big so it’s quite easy for you to look for it. It’s located at the other block of Poslaju.

It’s very obvious… It’s a Korean restaurant.

The interior, there are two floors. The owner is a Korean.

There are two private rooms there if I’m not mistaken. It’s a great place for you to discuss free insurance quotes with your friends in privacy.

Apple Juice (RM5), Green Tea (RM3)

The side dishes. Six of them. They will change everyday except the the kimchi(that’s for sure!), without kimchi, Korean food is not complete.

Kalguksu (RM12), the portion is very big! It’s best to be shared with others if you are not a big eater. Estimated, 2-3 persons can share this bowl.

Jjambong (RM17), don’t you think it looks spicy? Actually it’s not that spicy but still those that cannot tolerate spiciness is better not to try it. The portion is quite big also and you can share with 2-3 friends also.

If you opt for sharing, you will be surprise on how much you can save even though the dish is quite expensive but for the portion, it’s worth it.

No longer in operation

I’m sure many of you know about Silhouette Restaurant & Bar that is operating in tHe Spring. I’m sure many of you think that the food and drinks will be very expensive but it’s not. They are reasonably priced like any other air-conditioned western restaurant. It’s located next to Food & Tea.

Wide range of wine and other alcoholic drinks ranging from RM100+ to RM1000 and above.

The bar.

The bar’s interior. Do not expect to hear any heavy music there, it’s a place for people to sit down and relax to chit chat with friends and not the place for you to dance your heart out.

The chairs. The interior colours are mainly in gold, white and black. There are TVs there but it’s fixed to the wall instead of using tv stand.

The menu.

Heineken Extra Large (RM18). It’s really huge.

Mocktail, Shirley Temple (RM16)

Guinness Stout Perfect Pint (RM14)

The bowl of peanuts is free of charge. Get to refill it also.

Silhouette Combo 4-in-1 (RM25), there are fries, calamari, chicken crisper, and fish fritto.

The Original CarWash Restaurant located at Rubber Road. Just opposite of ING office. Before you reach there, you can see Satay House on your right, then Singapore Chicken Rice on your left. It’s just further up and you will see it.

Very different atmosphere. You can get your car wash there at dine at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone. However, the car wash is more expensive that the normal one you get in the market because of the technology used.

The place looked very high class and the enviroment is really great.

You can opt to dine outside if you like to smoke and dine.

The inside of the restaurant. The interior decor is very interesting.

I’m sure it’s a great place to have a romantic or relaxing quiet dinner with your loved ones.

The lighting is not too dark and not too bright. It’s very comfortable and soothing.

The menu.

Very simple design. In fact you can download it from their website, http://www.theoriginalcarwash.com

Drink available: Dragonfruit Juice (RM6.50), Berries Thicks (RM5), P. Butter Chocolate (RM5), Orange Juice (RM5.50).

The menu is done by the founders of Bla Bla Blah, The Junk and The Living Room. Food portion is big and great for sharing.

Tom Yam Goong Soup (RM18) can share with 5-6 persons.

Tom Kha Gai Soup (RM12) can share with 5-6 persons.

Both soups are spicy if you can’t tolerate spicy food.

Lamb Chop (RM25)

Chicken Chop (RM20)

:: Fettuccini Carbonara (RM23)

Par Ped Ka Min (RM18), stir fried fish with turmric, thai style that comes with a plate of rice and veggies.

Par Mek Pat Pong Ka Le(RM18), stir fried squid with curry sos that comes with a plate of rice and veggies.

Lots of food to eat but if you have acne, you might want to control on consuming some food else if it gets worst you will have to find treatments for acne.

The food we ordered, a bit too much for 5 persons. Total bill was RM159.50.

You can see many antiques outside the restaurant.

A Ferrari 355 GTS is also there on display.
