Sushi King Card RM2 Bonanza wil come again soon in October. Those who missed it, you still have the chance to enjoy it in October.

Ten Ichi is now having their June promotion now. You can gather your friends or your family to dine there. Cost spliting is the best way to ensure that you can try most of the food and it’s much more cost effective also.

Let’s see what they have this month:

Beef lovers, you will love this very much! Beef Maki(RM16.90) The beef is medium rare.

Salmon Ni Set(RM12.90) is two pieces of deep fried tempura salmon with mixed vegetables at the bottom that comes with a bowl of rice and a bowl of miso soup. This is very filling dish. The salmon is highly recommended.

As usual, there will be two dishes that are only available on Thursaday and Sunday for only RM9.90 each:

Spider Maki(RM9.90), sushi that consists of soft shell crab, mayonaise and fish roe. The sushi size is big, you will surely cannot finish one sushi in one go.

Hiyashi Ramen(RM9.90), ramen with various ingredients which includes vegetables and seafood. Wasabi lovers will sure love this as it comes with a bowl of sauce consists of wasabi and Japanese soy sauce mixture.

By just ordering the 4 promotion items above is enough to fill 4-6 stomach or more depending on how much of eater are you.

Here are some other food that are available at Ten Ichi if you don’t want to go for the promotion:

Sushi set that costs RM20+ made from locally available fish instead of imported fish. The freshness is guaranteed because imported fish are usally frozen. When you pick it up with chopstick and you can try to shake it, it won’t crumble at all. Good sushi should be this way.

Teppanyaki that is about RM30+. Portion is huge! There are vegetables, prawns, cuttlefish, beef, sardine and few more ingredients that I can’t recall. See the side dishes that comes with it? They are salad, fruits, garlic rice, miso soup, and Japanese kimchi. You can share this with 2-3 people. In case the rice isn’t enough, you can order an extra garlic rice for only RM2.50 per bowl instead of ordering this whole set. The garlic rice is highly recommended.

I’m sure you are smart enough. Do your math, it’s not that expensive and most food can be shared as the portion is quite big. Just split the cost with your friends.

Today is the last day and I know posting this is late but you can still get these from the menu just that you won’t be getting free Lipton Ice Red Tea.

Sushi King’s May promotion, Oh-so-yummy Japanese Curry. There are many curry dishes on offer, let me list them out for you:
Curry Bento, Curry Nan Desu, Yasai Curry Soup, Croquette Curry, Ebi Fly Curry, Ika Curry, Chicken Katsu Curry, Sakana Curry, Curry Don, and Curry Odon.

You’ll get a free Lipton ice red tea free when you order 2 curry dishes but they gave us two tins for ordering 2 *SHRUG* It’s actually while stock last, this means there’s still stock. However, only valid till 31st May.

Curry Udon (RM13.50), Japanese wheat noodles in curry sauce served with soft tofu, crabstick, hard-boiled egg and spring onion.

Curry Nan Desu, Japanese Curry Rice Pancake(RM10.90).

Pino Ice Cream (RM7.90), ice cream coated inside thin layer of chocolate crust.

Don’t worry, you can still try them, it’s in the menu like I mentioned just now.

Ten Ichi is having special dish for you in May. Ten Ichi is located just below Lok Thian, next to the Thai Restaurant. It’s one of the eatery establishments of Lok Thian Group.

The lighting is very soft. This is one of the corners of Ten Ichi leading to the largest VIP room.

There are 3 VIP rooms available. This is the small one.

The ingredients for sushi. Freshness is ensured and some of these are imported all the way Hokkaido, Japan. Ten Ichi also used local fish for their sushi to ensure freshness of the fish.

Fujisan, the trademark of Japan. This is actually the door leading to one of the VIP rooms.

Sansyouku Temaki, 3 temakis(salmon+mayo, fish roes, unagi) for only RM9.90, it’s cheaper than what you Many Japanese restaurants in Kuching. Highly recommended. Every ingredient is carefully roll in are fully stuffed. Quite worth it. It’s only availble on Thursday and Sunday.

Dragon Maki Set(RM16.90). The sushi is topped with two slices of avocado. The fish roes on top are from Hokkaido.

The side dish that came with the set. However, you won’t be getting the same side dish everyday. It varies from day to day.

Karei Torikatsu Ramen or Japanese Curry Noodle(RM9.90), this is recommended. The portion is huge! It’s not spicy also. It’s only availble on Thursday and Sunday.

Torimiso Set or Grilled Miso Chicken Set(RM11.90).

All these are great for sharing. You can share with your friends and won’t be paying that much. You get to enjoy quality Japanese cusine with a fraction of price. Let’s see some extra dishes that they have but these are not promotions.

Fruit salad that was served to us when we were there to preview their promotion. KIt’s not in the menu, therefore price is unknown.

This is the real Okonomiyaki (Japanese Pizza). It’s only RM16 and the ingredients you get in there are really worth it. It’s soft and crispy at the same time. Portion is quite enough for 5 persons. It’s not supposed to be thick, wet and slimy like the one you get somewhere in Kuching.

This is one of the best Japanese restaurant in Kuching. In fact, the prices of the food here aren’t expensive if you consider the portion, the freshness of the ingredients and the professionalism that they have. It’s a must go if you want to try out authentic Japanese cuisines.

We had eaten 36 plates. 2 blue(RM2 X 2), 6 beige(RM3 X 6), 18 pink(RM4 X 18), 4 red(RM5 X 4), 6 purple(RM6 X 6).
The best is was that we only paid half the total price, RM86.25. If there isn’t mobile voucher, then we have to pay RM172.50, we saved RM86.25!!! Interesting!

Sushi King is also opened at The Spring. It’s located at the are where the food court of The Spring is.

The place is smaller than the one at Boulevard Mall. The access to the kaiten is very limited. If you want to have the kaiten sushi, you have to order it. Of course the green tea is free flow and FOC.

How much can you eat?

Apply for the Sushi King card and you can get 10% off from the total bill or other way to say this is you don’t have to pay for service tax. Some credit cards also allow you to enjoy the 10% discount. Check your credit card company about it.

The kaitan could get as empty as this! Goodness! The food didn’t taste good too. This is one place that I wouldn’t want to go back. I’m not sure about other branches though.

Hmmm… I think eat oo much sushi won’t cause pimple outbreak right? I don’t want to go for treatments for acne later.

Mr Teppanyaki is located at Sunway Pyramid. There are so many choices at Sunway Pyramid, had problem choosing where to eat.

Decided to come here because they are having a new year promotion that time(last month).
