Alex Eating House is located at Beach Road in Bugis.

They seem to be specialized in roast duck.

Decided to had our lunch here… When you’re there, definitely you’ll order the duck dish.

Roasted Duck and Char Siew Rice (SGD4).

Char Siew Wan Ton Noodle (SGD4).

Roasted Duck Noodle (SGD4).

I don’t guarantee that it’s nice. It’s up to individual taste but personally I think that there’s better ones out there. However, the pricing and portion wasn’t that bad.

Only Mee is one of the eateries you can you find in Kuching International Airport. It’s located at the ground level, near to McD.

They serve a variety of food especially rice or noodle dish from Malay to Chinese style.

Here’s some of the food we had order but don’t have much details though because forgot to take note of them. So just going to share the photos with you:

Honey Roasted Chicken

Two different types of noodle, one with fish balls and another with chicken and dumplings.

Ais Kacang Campur(RM6, if I’m not mistaken). Very tall glass and colourful.

Overall it’s not a very bad choice to dine here compared to dining at the other end which is much more expensive and with small portion.

Here… Some photos to share with you for the Kuching Festival Food Fair.

Date: 31st July – 22nd August
Time: 6pm – 11pm
Place: Dewan Masyarakat

The entrance. Just going to show you the surrounding, food will come in coming post(s) because I’m still collecting them.

As usual, you can always find the same old stalls every year without fail.

There are also news ones. It seems like there’s more stalls this year compare to the past.

More stalls…

Was caught with surprise when I smelt durian smell. You got to be kidding me! Sell durian in food fair?!?! WOW! I hope the tourists won’t be shooed away by it. Anyway, there’s many people lining up to buy the food there. Seems like it’s quite a hit.

Various associations were given the chance to sell there too. You can find food from various races/dialects there.

Another section of the food far.

This stall has the most “advanced” banner.

Food photos will come soon, maybe in the coming post.

Kokoberry is located at tHe Spring. It’s not hard to spot. It’s at the same level as MBO.

In fact this is just one of the branches. You can find Kokoberry in Sibu too.

They specialized in various types of milk tea and ice blended drinks. You can also find crepes there too.

Bough a cup of Pearl Milk Tea. Don’t remember the price though.

When I was in Singapore, I came across many Uzumaki kiosks.

This is the one located at Bugis but I didn’t buy the ice cream from this kiosk.

Later at the day, I came across it again at Chinatown. I bought my Uzumaki ice cream at the The FirePlace at 268 South Bridge Road.

The ice cream on display, they are not real but they looked real.

I went for the Matcha-ah. It cost me SGD3 for this small cup.

Matcha-ah, the signature product of Uzumaki, is made from the best green tea leaves from Japan.

This little cup consisted of whole tea leaves with all the nutrients that come with it.

The ice cream was rich and creamy and the texture was quite heavy. It’s different from the usual ice cream that I tasted before.

Uzumaki’s tagline is Japanese Favourite Ice Cream. Check out Uzumaki offical website.

I’m sure many of you are familiar with Scoops. It was located opposite Hilton last time but they had moved to a new place, opposite Ju Shi Ling(居士林) or same place as the current Maybank and Alliance Bank at Jalan Laksaman Cheng Ho area. It’s very obvious from the main road with the two banks located at the same area.

They have air-cons in there but it’s not enclosed. Don’t you think it’s quite a waste of electricity?

The pictures on the wall are pretty cute and huge mirror is used as part of the shop’s decorations.

The comfortable seating area.

Triple Flavours (RM12), ordered Chocolate Mint, Vanilla Coffee and I don’t remember another flavour.

If you only prefer one scoop, it’s RM5; two scoops, it’s RM8.

Many people are disappointed with this new place, they prefer the old location and also complain about the quality of the gelato is not as good as it used to. How about you?

This old location is better because it is located near to shopping centers where you can buy baby bedding and more. When you are tired, you can take a rest there after shopping, it would be nice.

Just for your information, Desserts is already opened at tHe Spring. The place isn’t as big as the one at Boulevard. The floor there is tiled, you can’t find area rugs there.

How can you maximize your dining experience using My Privilege Book? There are many buy 1, free 1 coupon for Desserts in the book. We love the buy one triple scoop and got another triple scoop for free. One triple scoop is RM6.50 this means each scoop is only RM1+! It’s so worth it using that coupon because if you notice you can no longer get 1 scoop of decent ice cream with RM1 these days anymore.

Here’s 6 more flavours that we had tried.

d’ Kit Kat has many crushed Kit Kat pieces, Kalamansi Samboi, refreshing on a hot day, and Blueberry Cheese Cake, tastes like cheesecake.

After Eight, great for chocolate and mint lovers. d’ Snickers is for Snickers lovers and peanut lovers, very rich in peanuts flavour but it doesn’t taste like peanut butter. Caribbean tasted sour.

If you have My Privilege Book, you should take this opportunity to try them out, it’s really worth it!
