Managed to pay a visit to Pullman Kuching recently. This post will show you the eateries available in the hotel.

There are two restaurants in Pullman Kuching:

Puzzle offers an al fresco dining experience with international and regional dishes.

This should be Nu Er Hong, a Chinese restaurant with an open concept kitchen.

If you just want to hang out with your friends, you can do so also at the following places in the hotel:

Deja Vu, a cosy lounge at the lobby.

Cafe Ch@t allows you to get connected while enjoying you pastries.

Liquid, the hotel’s superlative poolside venue with a DJ entertaining the crowd every weekend.

How can hotel be complete without ballrooms for banquets or functions right?

This is taken at one of the ballrooms. Did a rough estimation of the tables, they can roughly fit more than 1000 people here.

Pullman Kuching is now open. It’s now one of the landmarks in Kuching. Very easy to spot, it’s located at the golden triangle of Kuching. Various places of interests are in walking distant and there are many other hotels surrounding it.

The new hotel houses two restaurants Puzzle, which offers an al fresco dining experience with international and regional dishes and Nu Er Hong, a Chinese restaurant with an open concept kitchen.

There is also a cosy lounge at the lobby named Deja Vu.

As for those who wish to get connected while enjoying their pastries, you could try out Cafe Ch@t.

Another option would be Liquid, the hotel’s superlative poolside venue with a DJ entertaining the crowd every weekend.

I just realized I have a lot of food post from my KL trip last year that I haven’t share. All these while I thought I had already posted it. Therefore there will be several more posts of my food experiences in KL to share in near future.

I managed to stayed at Holiday Inn Glenmarie Kuala Lumpur for 3 days 2 nights(inclusive of breakfast) when I was in KL. In fact it’s located at Shah Alam. It was a complimentary stay by Holiday Inn.

We had our breakfast buffet at Kites Restaurant. Located at the lower ground floor of the hotel.

The restaurant overlooks a landscaped garden and swimming pool. It offers a wide variety of local and continental fare as well as a wide selections of snacks.

These are some of the food we had during our stay there:

Finally got the chance to try out the lunch buffet at The Eatery, Four Points by Sheraton a while back. Here are some of the food that I had eaten. I’m not that lucky, I was not allowed to take photos there even though I saw many bloggers managed to take quite a lot of photos there. I had to take the photos discretely.

Managed to steal a shoot from my seat. The section you see here is the candy section on the left and the bread section on the right.

These are some of the food that I had tasted, didn’t eat much though because wasn’t feeling very well and didn’t have much appetite.

From the appetizer section.

Some of the main course available at the continental food section.

These are some of the main course from the Asian food section.

Desserts from the dessert section, these are jellies and nata de coco, there were also kueh lapis, and various type of nicely decorated sponge cakes.

I heard you get lots of mussels and sashimi for the dinner buffet which I personally think it’s much more worth it.

Anyway, if you are wondering about the prices, the buffet is priced at (exclude tax and service charge):

RM38++ (lunch)

RM58++ (dinner)

Iced water is free flow.

Free flow soft drink will be charged at RM5++

Not sure about the price of coffee and tea but it is not free flow, one time only.

If you would like to dine there, be sure to call for reservation at 082-280888.

The Eatery is open daily from 7am-11pm.

Was invited to a wedding last weekend. Would like to share the food I had with you. These are some of the dishes available for those that want to have dinner/lunch banquet at Four Points by Sheraton. The host had changed the original menu to what you see now as the one proposed earlier on was not suitable for the guests.

I’m sorry but I cannot give you much feedback on the food as banquet food usually taste almost the same everywhere to me, nothing much to rave about them unless if they are really really bad or really really delicious then that’s different story.

Four Season Combination Platter. There were 4 types of appetizers there but I don’t know the names and I cannot recognize them in the photos. If not mistaken, there’s beef, chicken, crab stick roll and sio bee.

Braised fish lips with Crab Meat Soup.

Oven Roasted Chicken with Mango Salad. At least this is something I don’t always come across in a banquet.

Steamed Red Lion Fish with “Tong Kwai” and Scallions Julienne in Superior Sauce.

Sauteed Buttered Prawn.

Braised Mixed Vegetable with Garlic.

Lotus Leaf Rice with Chicken and Mushroom.

Chilled Sea Coconut Sweet Soup with Lemon.
