Old Chang Kee is no stranger to Singaporeans. Old Chang Kee is famous for its curry puffs. They have many outlets throughout Singapore.

This is the one in front of Ngee Ann City. I was stopped by the workers there for taking photos of it. Good thing I managed to get some shoots before being stopped for doing so.

We bought some of the food from its OnStik Family menu:

GuChai OnStik(SGD1.00)
Sotong Ball OnStik(SGD1.40)
Sotong OnStik(SGD1.50)
Breaded Sushi OnStik(SGD1.50)

Didn’t take the individual photos of the food we bought though. Also didn’t try out the curry puff. Should have try it but didn’t thought of it that time also didn’t know it’s their specialty until now.

You can check out Old Chang Kee official website to find out more.

Tian Sian Steamboat comes complete with more than fifty types of Chinese herbs as its base. The soup base is all about natural flavouring that aids in improving health and well-being. Most importantly, it does not contain any preservatives.

The special thing about this steamboat is that they do not provide you with any condiment as the soup base is already rich enough and you do not need other things to spoil the taste.

You can choose to have the original, spicy, vegetarian or the combo (original or spicy) soup base. Small soup base(RM30) is available for those with 3 or less people or the large soup base(RM35) for a group of 4 and above.

This is not your average steamboat place. It serves only premium quality ingredients, from its Taiwan specialty meatballs, to fresh ostrich meat and the many varieties of vegetarian ingredients.

Furthermore, it’s air-conditioned.

You should also try out Tian Sian Specialty Tea, a special in-house brew.

If you are not into steamboat but into coffee, Tian Sian serves the finest Bristot coffee beans imported from Belluno, Italy. Their expresso coffee bean, the Bristot Tiziano contains 80% Arabica and 20% Robusta blend.

The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner from 10.00am to 11.00pm serving a la carte menu for steamboat. Reservations can also be made for private functions and the restaurant is able to cater to a maximum of 100 persons.

I’m sure many had been wondering when Krispe Kreme will come to Malaysia. Many people actually buy it back to Malaysia all the way from Jakarta or Australia if they happened to be there.

Finally! Krispe Kreme is now in Malaysia. Here’s the details of the first store in Malaysia:
Ground Floor, Lot G-08A
Berjaya Times Square
No1 Jln Imbi
55100 Kuala Lumpur.

Telephone Number: 603-2119 7373

Operation Hours: 10am-10pm

URL: http://www.krispykreme.com.my

Since it’s located in Berjaya Time Square, I’m sure the sale of the doughnuts should be good. If you can’t find what you want at the shopping complex, why not drop by to buy the doughnuts and after that go home to shop online where buy.com is having a weekly sales and you can enjoy your doughnuts while browsing around the site to find the thing you need.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Green Heights Mall opened quite sometimes ago and never got the chance to go there.

Finally got the chance to have some food and drinks there.

Let’s see what they have:

Lasagna. You get layers of pasta, minced chicken, Italian tomato sauce, baked with a topping of Cheddar cheese. Don’t dont’ judge by the portion, it’s pretty filling.

Coffee Bean’s Classic Caesar Salad consists of Romaine lettuce, eggs and garlic croutons tossed in a light Caesar dressing with Parmesan cheese. This is in fact quite filling too due to the egg and cheese.

The newly introduced Marshmallow Chocolate Mousse Cake. The white things you see are marshmallow and the purplish jam thing is blueberry. It’s not that sweet.

Ice Blended Red Bean Green Tea, green tea blended with red beans.

Ice Blended Black Sesame Green Tea, green tea blended with black sesame. This is less sweet compare to Ice Blended Red Bean Green Tea.

Didn’t have the chance to go to Bau to try out the Marrybrown. The first branch of Marrybrown is at Bau. Now, they have one nearer to town, at Satok. You can easily spot it from the main road.

Didn’t manage to dine there but managed to buy some back to try. Bought the CNY specials few weeks back. The set cost RM21+, it’s quite expensive because it only came with…

Two coleslow

Two Pepsi, the cup looked as if you are buying some children meal

A box consist 4 types of deep fried food. Namely the curly fries, fried popiahs, chicken meat(don’t know how to call it, it’s not nugget-like, just deep fried meat), and not sure what the other one called that looked like pillows with vegetarian char siew filling(it tasted like it but so sure).

By the way, this set is no longer available, only available for a limited time.

I’m sure many of you know that Pizza Hut has a website but not many know that they can actually order their pizza online. I know a lot of people around me know about it but I’m sure there are still many that didn’t know about it.

What I want to share with you now is that, not only you can order your pizza delivery online instead of calling the delivery number, you can now also order your pizza online and then pick up when it’s done. I know many of us hate to wait for takeaway.

You don’t have to worry now! Just go online and make your order. Let me share my experience with you (the whole process took about 15 mintues):

1. Go to pizzahut.com.my

2. Register an account.

3. When log in, choose “Pickup” if you want to pick up the pizza later.

4. Make your order and follow the instructions. You can opt to pay with Maybank2u or credit card. There’s also cash. How to use cash? I actually use this way. I chosed cash as payment method.

5. Wait for confirmation e-mail in your mail box.

6. For my case, not long after I got my confirmation e-mail, I got the phone call from the Pizza Hut outlet that I had chosen to reconfirm my order. I asked them when can I collect, they told me I can collect “NOW”. That’s fast, save a lot of time!

7. Went straight to the outlet and tell them you are going to pick up your pizza. They will show you the receipt, you pay and you got your pizza!

Very convenient! I really love this service they provide. Next time, I don’t have to wait anymore, order at the comfort of my home and pick it up when they’re done.
