I’m not sure what the name of the new commercial centre near Yoshi Square. It’s there, same row as Unaco.

The interior.
During the opening, they were having a promotion, buy one set of two pieces of chicken (inclusive of a drink) and you would get free one set of one piece chicken set (inclusive of a drink).

It cost RM9+ for this promotion.

So? Have to visited this place? My Chicken Restaurant has its first branch at 10th Mile. The one here is located at Tabuan Plaza is their second branch.

On the first two days of their opening, they had buy one set meal free one set meal promotion.

The queue was so loooooooong and it didn’t cease even until almost 10pm. This photo shows you the length of the queue around 7pm. At 9.30pm, it’s still the same length but of course not the same people queuing. Took us about 45 minutes to reach our turn.

Due to the crowd, we decided to take away instead of dine in.

This is the set, one piece of chicken, a container of coleslaw, a packet of fries, a bun, and a cup of soft drink. If not mistaken, it cost around RM6 or RM7 (don’t remember) for this set.
Did you join the craze?
For now, I don’t see any sign or logo that indicate that it’s halal or I might be wrong. Anyone can confirm this?

The entrance. Just going to show you the surrounding, food will come in coming post(s) because I’m still collecting them.

As usual, you can always find the same old stalls every year without fail.

There are also news ones. It seems like there’s more stalls this year compare to the past.

More stalls…

Was caught with surprise when I smelt durian smell. You got to be kidding me! Sell durian in food fair?!?! WOW! I hope the tourists won’t be shooed away by it. Anyway, there’s many people lining up to buy the food there. Seems like it’s quite a hit.

Various associations were given the chance to sell there too. You can find food from various races/dialects there.

Another section of the food far.

This stall has the most “advanced” banner.
Food photos will come soon, maybe in the coming post.

I’m sure T.G.I Friday is no stranger to many of you. It’s famous for fresh food and mouthwatering American classics, from appetizers perfect for sharing, to memorable burgers and delicious desserts. Always wanted to try out this place in KL or in Penang but never got the chance.

Finally had the chance to dine in T.G.I Friday during my previous trip. Saw it at 1 Utama and decided to have dinner there.

Green Apple Slush(RM8.90), mixture of green apple and lemon-lime soda.

Texas Ribeye and Cajun Fried Shrimp(RM54.90), generous 10 oz. Australian chilled air flown grain-fed ribeye topped with a fresh spicy tomato pico de gallo paired with crispy Cajun fried shrimp served with BBQ sauce, Cheedar mashed potatoes and grilled corn on the cob.
The food portion was quite big. It’s better to share with a friend or two if you are an average or small eater.
