Given the present culture of socialising and the ever changing idea of having a ‘good time’, fine dining qualifies as a top notch priority. Be it a family dinner, hang out with friends or a special date with a special someone, your dining experience is a huge deciding factor in setting up the mood for the rest of the day.

But however fancy schmancy a restaurant may look like and the prices might also burn a hole in your pocket, have you still felt like something is missing? Have you wondered exactly what guarantees a perfect meal? Is it the menu card, the ambience, music, the sitting parlour, prompt service or a perfect balance of all these factors?

To put you out of your misery, here is a quick guide to help you find the best diner in town, one that suits the occasion as well as your budget.

First thing, before putting your finger down on a restaurant research a bit about it. There are several online discovery guides that provide reliable information about popular eateries. Their analysis is often critical and they categorize the restaurants neatly based on their ambience, cuisine speciality, price range and above all performance ratings. These rating are mostly legit given they are formed using customer reviews as well as comments from food critiques.

Besides that, there are some restaurants which may catch your eye because of reasonable rates but you need to look out for certain unobvious inconveniences. For starters the quality of food and hygiene maintained while cooking. The last thing you want to be is sick after consuming a meal. So read reviews very carefully and check on the cleanliness of the kitchen specially if you’re buying from food carts, vans, trolleys and similar take aways’. A quick scrutinising look gives you a good idea about the cleanliness of the attendants as well. Apart from that, attendants should be professional and polite in their mannerism. Who wants to be served rudely?

The time taken by restaurants to serve your order may sound insignificant but often waiting for too long can become a spoiler instead of the general idea of being appetizing. So, quick and sumptuous service is a definite on the check list.

And of course there are a few choices you need to make beforehand. Whether you want live jazz or the soothing orchestra; the good old juke box or hard rock; there is ‘a’ music for every cuisine. And the crucial question of cuisine should also be pre-sorted; Thai or Lebanese; Continental or Chinese, to each their own. Remember to dress up well and look appropriate for the occasion, dinner jacket or the casual polo Tee, sneakers or loafers all depending upon the feel of the occasion. Just check in online and buy the perfect attire from sites like Nordstrom.com and in order to ensure that you don’t end up splurging over budget use Nordstrom Promo codes and save while to prepare to experience the perfect dining experience.

And above all get good company and the perfect smile, a fine dine remains ensured.
