Just realized that I have some food photos from Kuching Festival that I haven’t post. Kuching Festival ended last Sunday. Here are some of the food that we had tried and also some food photos that we managed to take there.

Variety of food you can find such as prawns, chicken, rice and more…

The popular Gourmet Sausage, always had to queue to buy.

Overall, the fair this year is bigger than last year’s. We’ll see what they have next year.

As promised in the previous post, here’s some of the food photos that I managed to take photos of. Not many though. Hopefully I’ll have the time to go there again soon so I can have more photos to share.

This is a type of bun from the Baba & Nyonya stall.

This, I named it jelly noodle. You can find it at the Szechuan stall. Be warned that it is very spicy even though it did not mention anything about being spicy.

Not sure what kind of noodle is this though. Some kind of fried noodle I guess.

Was caught with surprise when I smelt durian smell. You got to be kidding me! Sell durian in food fair?!?! WOW! I hope the tourists won’t be shooed away by it. Anyway, there’s many people lining up to buy the food there. Seems like it’s quite a hit.

Various associations were given the chance to sell there too. You can find food from various races/dialects there.

Kuching Festival 2010 will start tomorrow! It’s going to be food, food, food, and never ending food for you to try from various eateries in Kuching and also some that only operate specifically for this festival. Do Mark it in you calender.
