Discovered Nanyang Cafe in Rundle Mall.

It’s located in Rundle Mall, accessible from the food court of David Jones.

They serve a variety of Malaysian cuisines. If you crave of Malaysian food in Adelaide, this is one of the Malaysian eatery that you can visit but do not expect Sarawak Laksa or Sarawak specialty here though.

Hainan chicken rice(AUD8)

Chicken Laksa(AUD8) with extra chili. If you can’t stand the spiciness, don’t ask for extra chili, it’s very spicy.

This place is always packed during lunch hour. So this means the food is good enough, you’ll never go wrong with the crowd.

By the way, it’s not halal, they do serve pork.

Only Mee is one of the eateries you can you find in Kuching International Airport. It’s located at the ground level, near to McD.

They serve a variety of food especially rice or noodle dish from Malay to Chinese style.

Here’s some of the food we had order but don’t have much details though because forgot to take note of them. So just going to share the photos with you:

Honey Roasted Chicken

Two different types of noodle, one with fish balls and another with chicken and dumplings.

Ais Kacang Campur(RM6, if I’m not mistaken). Very tall glass and colourful.

Overall it’s not a very bad choice to dine here compared to dining at the other end which is much more expensive and with small portion.

Home-Made Specialities isn’t new in Kuching. It’s been operating for quite awhile already.

It’s located at Ang Cheng Ho, Lorong 1.

Here’s some of the food that are quite popular there apart from the curry puff and yam puff.

Hen Hua Mee Big Prawn (RM7), very colourful and nicely arranged.

Tomato Kueh Tiaw(RM4.50), hopefully the price is correctly recalled.

Claypot Chicken Leg/Pork Soup, don’t remember the price. Sorry. The peppery soup was very very thick.

One more kopitiam for you to try out.

Was wondering around Bugis area looking for a place to have late dinner.

Saw QQ Noodle House was still opened for business, we decided to dine there not knowing what they serve. We only know they serve noodle from the Chinese community. It’s located at Victoria Street.

After we sat down, we saw the wall… “Sarawak, known as Bumi Kenyalang (Land of the Hornbills)”. It then dawned on us that we’re here for Sarawak food!

At first we thought must be kolomee but after we saw the poster and newspapers article, they’re serving kampua!

Here you go… Ordered some food just to fill out tummy before heading back to the hotel.

Fresh barley.

Fried Tang Hun (SGD5.50).

QQ Specialty (SGD5), the kampua.

So… If you’re in Singapore and miss kampua, maybe you can come here to fix your craving. Or just want to judge whether it’s authentic enough or not, why not?
