The hotel is pleased to announce that The Eatery and its banquet kitchens have been recertified with halal in line with the new guidelines issued by the Sarawak Islamic Council.
The Ramadhan buffet will bring out some of the best from traditional Malay cuisine interspersed with some of the restaurant’s longstanding favourites. A selection of thirst-quenching fruity drinks as well as the popular ais krim soda sirap bandung will ease the break of fast. Appetisers comprising dates, dips, olives, savouries, pickles, miniature appetisers and a variety of kerabu are set to tingle the taste buds before diners dig into the main fare.
The hotel’s culinary team has put together a few menus to provide a large buffet spread for diners observing the month-long tradition. Highlights of the Ramadhan menus include roast Arabic whole lmb with Basmati rice, Indonesian bakso soup with 10 types of condiments, oriental seafood omelettes with cocktail sesame mayo, Penang assam laksa noddles, Four Points specialty Belacan chicken, beef serunding rending pizza, bubur lambuk and bubur pedas, grilled car fish wrapped with sambal banana leaves, peanut butter beef as well as chicken and beef satay.
The Eatery will continue to serve crowd-pleasers fresh tiger prawns and scallops complemented by the house specialty of Sarawak umai ikan and Midin shrimp salad.
Sweet templations will always include the delightful sweet Arabic Baklava and warm sweet dessert Arabic Omali besides an assortment of miniature desserts, buttered date cakes, baked lemon cheese cake, pudding, and a wide selection of Malay kuih muih, rojak buah-buahan, Roti Boom, Roti John, Murtabak and chilled Tapai on ice.
The Balik Kampung Ramadhan Feast Buffet is priced at RM69.00++ (RM80.00 nett) per person. Group dining discount on 10% will be given for every group of 10 to 19 adult diners while every group of 20 adult diners and above will enjoys 15% discount. Children below 12 are entitled to a 50% discount off the buffet price. All prices are subject to 10% service charge and 6% government tax.
