Ho Chiak Bak Kut Teh is located just opposite Dewan Masyarakat where Kuching Festival is held every year and Chung Hua Primary School No.3.

How can you not have chili for bak kut teh?
They claimed that this bak kut teh is original recipe from Klang. However, I’m not judge to say it’s not as I’m not a bak kut teh expert.
Let’s see what we had:

Garlic rice(RM1)

Bak kut teh (RM6), the usual type we usually get.

Bak kut teh (RM6), this is the dry type.
By the way, the place is not air-conditioned. It’s just like any other kopitiam.

patrick, it’s not ppl here don’t know how to eat, it’s the way ppl enjoy bak kut teh here is different from KL ppl. Every place has their own way of eating their food, that is why it is unique. There is no right or wrong on the way of eating a food. Kuching bak kut teh is different from West Malaysia. Likewise, Penang laksa is different from Sarawak laksa.
