On the 11th November 2008. Kado Cafe opened for business. It’s located at the last row of shop behind Public Bank Padungan. It’s located upstair of a coffeeshop.

The ambiance of the place is quite nice. There’s no air-conditioning, only ceiling fans.
The space is quite spacious and we noticed that many patrons ended up taking photos around the place because of the interior decor that is very unique.
This is another type of seating that you can opt for if you go there in big group.
Another area that is very popular among the patrons is the center section where there’s sofa and water feature under the platform and on the wall. If you want to sit here, our advise is make sure you reserve it first before you go as anyone will sit there whenever they have the chance.
They have separate menu for food and drinks. Let’s see what we had ordered:
Papaya juice(RM3), watermelon juice(RM3). See the two shot glasses there? They are syrup, if you prefer sweeter juice, you can add in the syrup.
Chicken Popcorn(RM8)

You should give Mushroom Soup a Try!! That was the Best Mushroom soup i’ve ever had……… so creamy! Feel like dipping Few Mussels into it and that’ll be PERFECT!!

我对这间”角落”很失望. 中午十二点我和同事到那里吃午餐,怎么知道等到快一点我们的食物都没做出来. 我们等了快一个小时,他们一声道歉也没有. 我们只好叫改为打包,我拿回公室里吃.我点的是有鸡肉,我吃到一半发现他们煮的鸡肉,根本没有熟,是”生生”的!!!
这样一次就够了,我已不想再去,也不敢再去.

是的,真的有这样的事发生,我还是第一次吃到”生”的鸡肉.当时太饿没注意,我吃了有一半才发现那个鸡肉根本没有煮熟..我们有通过朋友去投诉,可是他们没有回应啊.真是失望….

我第一次去“角落”吃，我叫了羊扒。 很硬噢！根本不能咬碎的！ 幸好CHICKEN POP CORN可以吃的，要不是就很饿了。。希望业主还有继续看这个POST,可以改善一下。。

I went to Kado last night for the first time. The cafe is spacious and well decorated, but the service was poor. No one came to serve us although we had been sitting there for almost half and hour. Then they came to take order, and we waited another half and hour for our drinks. Just the drinks.
A friend of mine joined us after that, but same thing happened again, ended up my friend didn’t order anything.
I hope they can improve their service quality, please allocated more waiters/waitress if it is the fact that the cafe will be crowded every weekend.

kado their service is very slow, i mean VEry SLoW. To ask for a straw u need to wait for ages, and the things you ordered.. its like u dint make the order. And last time ,my friend found a pieces of the plates inside her fried rice.. wad would happen if she swallos it?? .. Kado really should rebuilt thier Services!

i went there quite many times oredy, and i never face the above problems…
all my frens love to go there, the drinks nice, foods also nice! about the service… actually is not slow at all…. what ever la.. kado is a good place. ( i love their lamb chop + honey milk tea )

y inside KADO CAfe can Smoke? 我和几个朋友很反感！这些无良的顾客，竟然没想到别人的健康和感受！搞得全部的空气臭醺醺的！难道，角落的老板没打算在内禁止抽烟吗？本来想逗留久点，再叫上几碟小吃。可是。。空气又闷又臭，开窗也一样。。我们只好。。换地点聊天了。。在这样下去。。什么好心情都被搞渣了。。。
下次。。还要再来吗？有待考虑。。。。

lee.fern, yea… kado allows smoking one. The section when you go in is smoking area, then the other section with air con is non-smoking area but since it’s not sealed, so it makes no difference.

glev, yes, wifi provided. The drinks? I think it’s pretty standard for a place like this, it’s still cheaper than Starbucks or Coffee Bean.

well, frankly speaking, kado left a very bad impression to me in many ways.. i was having a farewell dinner there, (thought that it was the perfect choice since so many recommended there) somehow, kado spoiled the whole moment.. first, the waiters are rude in many ways..
1. the way they speak as if we owe him the whole world..
2. we request for a waiter to wipe our table (our cold drinks were condensing the air outside and make the table wet).. it ended up we had to grab ourselves tissue FROM THE TOILET to wipe it ourselves coz they never come..
3. the drink and food are slowly served..
4. not so nice food.. my lamb steak was one of the worse steak i tested.. (seriously, not a bias judgment)
5. there’s one table which was reserved, we ask the waiter whether we can take it if they arent coming.. he said we cant coz they are coming.. fine.. we left when the shop closed yet there’s not even a single fly landed on that particular table.. @.@
6. they are not so helpful and friendly after all.. it’s hard to get one waiter to come over to help up. even a guy at the cashier (i dont know whether he’s a manager or not) saw it, he did nth.. o.O
7. what make me upset the most is that they never feel that they are wrong.. customer is always right.. that’s the first rule u have to stick on when u r doing business.. if you dont obey, plz, get ur shop close and go back to kampung tanam jagung!!
to be honest, if u r looking for a place with cozzy environment and a place to relax, never go there.. KADO will spoil the whole night and make u feel even worst.. I will never even to consider of going back to kado every again..

超喜欢吃汉堡的…大大个的…好吃好吃..又不会很贵…
那我觉得阿…有些地方需要改进咯..我相信你们是可以做得最好的..只是看你们要不要罢了…加油哦…

I feel dissappointed on Kado actually. We went there for a birthday celebration. The service there were slow and the way the waitress treat us like “u r gals so i don like u” but got another waitress (seems like boss) more polite.
Just 1 thing we so not happy is when we request for helping us make surprise birthday party they reject in not very polite way.
The food is quite ok but the drinks…They know that 1 pot of drink only can share for 3 person but they didnt tell at first. They told when serve then that make us take alot of time to make 2nd order cos they totally ignore our corner even though the cafe is not too many people..
Well, I also found that there are 1 table(sofa style) which is reserved but no people come to it at whole night.. So weird!!

kado actually was a very nice place to go. but few thing’s needs’ to be improve.

the tauke n tauke - niong thr was very nice person. expecially the tauke-niong like to smile. tat’s make customer more like going thr. the new intro food : ayam penyek totally nice. keep on improvement. im will owes support kado!

我只去过一次，却让我印象深刻。因为服务真的是SUCKS.
跟大部分的人相同，我们等了很久。等很久才来拿order，等很久饮料才送来，等很久食物才送来。
当晚是我一个朋友生日，我们带了一个蛋糕去。当我们问说可不可以借叉和盘给我们的时候，服务生说：“我们只给tissue。” 也就是，连叉都不给。而且把一叠tissue丢在我们桌上就走了。（补充，其他的餐厅/餐馆都会给哦～而且配合度很高）
我另外一位朋友点了一份面，一人吃不完，所以想说那多一份餐具跟另外一位朋友share。结果最最最让我“惊吓”的是，服务生的答案竟然是：“对不起，我们的餐具是算准准的！”言下之意就是说，他们是算准准每个晚上有几位客人，才拿出几份餐具的吗？
那是2010年7月，一年前的事情。今晚我因为朋友约，不得不再去第二次。我不奢望可以在那里吃饱，在那里得到很好的服务，因为我已经做好之后去别的地方喝茶了。一年后，我希望，他们的服务，是真的有改善。
