I’m sure many of you are familiar with Scoops. It was located opposite Hilton last time but they had moved to a new place, opposite Ju Shi Ling(居士林) or same place as the current Maybank and Alliance Bank at Jalan Laksaman Cheng Ho area. It’s very obvious from the main road with the two banks located at the same area.

They have air-cons in there but it’s not enclosed. Don’t you think it’s quite a waste of electricity?

The pictures on the wall are pretty cute and huge mirror is used as part of the shop’s decorations.

Triple Flavours (RM12), ordered Chocolate Mint, Vanilla Coffee and I don’t remember another flavour.

If you only prefer one scoop, it’s RM5; two scoops, it’s RM8.

Many people are disappointed with this new place, they prefer the old location and also complain about the quality of the gelato is not as good as it used to. How about you?

This old location is better because it is located near to shopping centers where you can buy baby bedding and more. When you are tired, you can take a rest there after shopping, it would be nice.

Frydays Chicken is a fairly new fast food restaurant in Kuching. Not many people know about this place. It’s located at Petanak next to a Chinese restaurant called Xin Chui Xiang(not quite sure about the spelling but in Chinese this is the name 欣翠香).

The interior is the same as other fast food chain, it’s self service. This means you have to order at the counter, pay at the counter and bring your food to your table yourself unless they don’t immediately have the food you order then they will send it to you.

There are various type of fried chicken set meals to choose from, the cheapest is RM6+, you can choose to have original, spicy or plum. Plum is their speciality. Basically the chickens come in original and they just sprinkle chili poweder or plum powder on it.

Currently they are having offer, Promo Wings(RM2.58), Promo Steak(RM4.98), and Chicken rice + Chicken Steak + Vege(RM5.98)

No Pork, they don’t serve pork but only chicken. They provide pure water, healthy oil, 100% fresh and clean environment.

If you are coming from Shell direction, it’s on right; if you are coming from Petanak market, it’s on your left. Just be sure to take note on your left or right then you won’t miss it.

Sushi King Card RM2 Bonanza wil come again soon in October. Those who missed it, you still have the chance to enjoy it in October.
