I”m sure many of your from Kuching are familiar with Singapore Chicken Rice. It’s a hot among Kuchingites. It’s here for more than 2 decades! 

This is the one located at Jalan Song Thian Cheok.

You can see the chicken hanging there. They have two types, steamed and roasted. You can mixed them when you order provided you go with more than 2 persons.

Each person will be given with a bowl of soup, usually salted vegetable soup. The chili is a must have you have their chicken rice.

It’s the turn for the female contestants again.

Both of them finsihed the the same number of sushi, so they were require to compete again. Who knows… They both finished the sushi! So the organiser decided that they both were qualified for the final.

Third round for the female, the youngest contestant was only 8 years old and she’s the winner but she didn’t turn up for the final.

Not many people there. Most of the spectators were family and friends of the contestants.

Here’s the winner for the male group. He got RM100 voucher from Sushi King. Second prize was RM80 and third prize was RM40.

Now, it’s the female contestants turn to compete for the Sushi Queen title.

This girl was the winner, she was also the muffin eating competition winner that was sponsored by Kenny Roger’s.

In fact, we joined too but won nothing hahaha…

We went to the Sushi King & Queen Competition at Boulevard Mall. The main sponsor is Sushi King, the organiser is Boulevard in conjunction of Easter last Sunday(23/03/08).

Here’s the stage where the participants will eat and contest among each other.

The participants were supposed to pay RM5 for the competition but due to overwhelming responses, they decided to let everyone joined for free. The sushi prepared for the contest at the back stage, each of them were packed with wasabi!! Lots of them, don’t play play!

We had eaten 36 plates. 2 blue(RM2 X 2), 6 beige(RM3 X 6), 18 pink(RM4 X 18), 4 red(RM5 X 4), 6 purple(RM6 X 6).
The best is was that we only paid half the total price, RM86.25. If there isn’t mobile voucher, then we have to pay RM172.50, we saved RM86.25!!! Interesting!
